I know that many of you are slightly upset that I am leaving for the Navy, but please understand, this is a good thing. I'm not going into a combat zone. My job as a Nuclear Engineer will be one of the safest jobs a person could have. I will be leaving shortly to stay in the Holiday Inn by the airport. In the morning, I will board a plane and go to Great Lakes, Illinois for 8 months of Basic Training. Either you will get an e-mail from me with my address so that you can write, or else you'll have to interrogate my mom for it. Either way, I would greatly appreciate letters. Don't try to send gifts or baked goods, I can only accept letters and wallet-sized pictures.

After the 8 weeks of Boot Camp, I will get on another plane and head off to Charleston, South Carolina for 18 months of schooling. With any luck, I will gain access to a computer right after boot camp. If not, then I will get an updated address to everyone. My guess is that I will get to come home for a week or two after my first 6 months of school. This will be in the July area. Bryan, if you're reading this, I will be planning on going camping with you if I can get back in the area at the right time. If not, you'll get a visit from me sooner or later.

Marlaina, Cuzin, WDP, I love you all. I shall be back to help conquer the world!!! Chris, I will be sending you an e-mail shortly with instructions on how to access my Facebook account so that you can keep me active in Castle Age. Try not to get too jealous of how much money I make. Also, to make life a whole lot easier, you can keep Halo: Cole Protocol. I've got enough money to go buy a new copy later. Consider it a christmas present.

I finished my story earlier today. I'm sad that I rushed through the last three chapters, but I feel that it was a good start for a short story. You can read it at [link]. The name is "The Consequences of Command - The Battle for Earth." There are fourteen chapters in total. It is extremely small compared to Lee's, but I think 50 pages single spaced was pretty good.

I will miss all of you and can't wait for all the love letters to come flooding in. I'm leaving instructions for my mom so that she will know how to send my address via email to Scott Cutbirth, Bryan Ross, TC, Marlaina Frederick, Michael Reynolds, David Phillippe, Chris, Gnikehtrofgnik, Lee, and Maureen Chelgren. As for family members and anyone else I forgot, you now know who to torture for my address.
